"You're not smart enough to be an engineer, not brave enough to be a race-car driver."
newCora Veltman — Art Director / Sports Photographer / Designer

Howdy — this is Cora. She's an Art Director and Designer with a sports background who tells stories and develops brand voices, drawing on pop culture, pop art, and overall anarchy for her advertising ideas.

She's chronically online and a self-described Swiss-army creative: ten years as a professional sports photographer, eight years as a graphic designer and brand manager, and six years as a social media community manager and content creator. She's lived professional lives in freelance, agency, in-house, production company, and events work, and that range has made her a strange kind of creative. She also knows quite a lot about motorsports — but that's its own story.

She's a productive thinker for sports, entertainment, and consumer goods: pitching campaigns, building content plans, and designing projects large and small across multiple industries and for global brands. She's hired and managed teams of freelancers and knows her way around a photo and video shoot. Live TV taught her to stay on her toes, entertainment made her a self-starter, and sports trained her to juggle multiple projects and prioritize well.

Her client list includes NBC Properties, Visa, Jose Cuervo, JBL, Capella University, Wells Fargo, McDonald's, Busch Light, Eli Lilly, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, IndyCar, Butterball Turkey, Chevrolet, and Honda. Her skills span branding, multi-platform content development, design thinking, concept visualization, presentations, cross-functional collaboration, social media content creation and strategy, the Adobe Suite, direct photo and video shoots, and AI.
